Welcome to Year 2 – Oak!

Our class teacher is Miss Roberts. The other adults that help us with our learning are Miss Hullock, Mrs. Rhodes and Mrs. Eales. Mrs. Murray  also teaches us on a Friday morning.

We are a very friendly class that help and look after one another. We always try our best and challenge ourselves in our work. We aim to always do the best we can!!

In Year 2 we are learning to be independent by taking responsibility of our own things and looking after them. Please help us by putting our names on everything.

We have PE on a Monday morning and Friday afternoon and we need to have our PE kits for each lesson.

Homework is given out on a Friday and is due in by Thursday the following week. Please could everyone have their own labelled water bottle to be able to drink regularly throughout the day.

We have a spelling test every Friday morning of words and sounds that we have been learning that week.

We do lots of reading in class so our book bags are needed in every day.

Children are regularly rewarded for their effort, positive attitude and behaviour towards their learning by having praise, certificates, prizes and team points.
